By the year 2030, more than half of the world’s 1.6 billion young people will never have been to school.

That’s why I’m telling the world about an opportunity to change that - and the future of the world’s children.

How? Finally there’s a plan big enough to deal with the problem. A new International Finance Facility for Education can unlock $10 billion annually and help 285 million children get the education they deserve - if the world’s 20 largest countries and the World Bank get on board.

Already, it's been backed by more than 20 charities and campaigning organisations including Theirworld, ONE, Global Citizen, Save the Children, Avaaz, Islamic Relief, VSO and World Vision, and I’m proud to stand with them.

There’s just one thing missing. You.

Please join me and tell the G20 that education is one idea that must be on their agenda this July.

One thing’s clear: every child deserves the chance to fulfil their potential. Without action, a generation of the world’s children will be left without it. Thank you for your support,

Shakira
